Ear Training Course Utilizing the Advanced Screening Tool: ETAS-001
This course provides listening and scoring practice for the 32 /r/ allophones or individual sounds utilizing single words, phrases and sentences. Contained in the course are videos of a student producing each of the 32 /r/ allophones, scored responses and feedback from Christine Ristuccia, SLP so that you can validate that you are hearing and correctly scoring the /r/ sounds.
1). Participants will list out the 4 categories of /r/.
2). Participants will list out visual and auditory behaviors that occur during unnatural /r/ productions.
3). Participants will list the 6 steps involved in the ear training screening process.
4). Participants will list the two differences between the traditional /r/ approach versus the phonemic approach (how /r/ sounds).
5). Participants will list out the 32 /r/ allophones.
6). Participants will list out the 3 reasons for creating a correctly produced /r/ word list.
